The wedding cake should not only look breath taking but taste fantastic. The range is endless. The cakes can be arranged traditionally with pillars, stacked directly on top of one another, or you can choose one of the modern seperator stands that are popular. A range of different flavoured cakes are available. You can choose from traditional brandy laced rich fruit cake, a rich belguim chocolate cake with rich chocolate icing, to a vanilla sponge or lemon sponge etc. Each tier can be a different flavoured cake. Your cake can be covered in royal icing, sugar paste or if it is a chocolate cake then why not have chocolate curls. A popular trend is for a chocolate cake with chocolate curls and decorated with fresh fruits which is then served as one of the puddings at the wedding breakfast.
